This Week In Comedy: Conan Travels The World In New Max Series, "Conan O'Brien Must Go"

This Week In Comedy: Conan O'Brien's long awaited new travel series, Conan O'Brien Must Go, premieres on Max. The new show where Conan connects with his podcast listeners across the world. The mainstay talk show host makes stops in Norway, Thailand, Argentina, and Ireland to surprise some of his most memorable fans while also taking in local culture, cuisine, and sights. This follows his pretty notable press run he did this past week on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon & his viral appearance on the Hot Ones season finale.

This week also marks a great week for new stand-up specials. Up next: UK comic Jimmy Carr returns to Netflix with his newest special Natural Born Killer, Ali Siddiq delivers the fourth installment of his Domino Effect series Pins & Needles via Moment, Pen Pals podcast co-host Daniel Van Kirk releases his debut special Rose Gold on YouTube & Ian Fidance releases his newest special Wild, Happy & Free on YouTube.

Opening in theaters this week are two unique comedy films. In a movie with completely no dialogue is Sasquatch Sunset starring Jesse Eisenberg & Riley Keough. The film follows a "family of Sasquatches—possibly the last of their enigmatic kind— embark on an absurdist, epic, hilarious, and ultimately poignant journey over the course of one year." Comedian John Early stars in the movie Stress Positions. Early plays Terry Goon, who's "keeping strict quarantine in his ex-husband's Brooklyn brownstone while caring for his nephew -- a 19-year-old model from Morocco named Bahlul -- bedridden in a full leg cast after an electric scooter accident. Unfortunately for Terry, everyone in his life wants to meet the model."

And finally: 800 Pound Gorilla has some great releases coming up this week including Modi's Know Your Audience premiering on YouTube, Mark Forward of Letterkenny premieres his special Mark Forward Presents...Mark Forward on YouTube & Mike Britt's new special Check The Mike premieres on YouTube.
