This Week In Comedy: Jimmy Fallon Celebrates 10 Years Of "The Tonight Show"

This Week In Comedy: It's a one of a kind week for late night ahead. Jimmy Fallon will be taking this week to formally celebrate the 10th Anniversary of his run as host of The Tonight Show in a primetime special that will look back at the many unforgettable moments that have defined the show’s legacy, viral hits, favorite sketches, musical performances, interviews & more.

“To be able to sit in the same chair as the iconic hosts before me, it’s been my absolute honor to be a part of ‘The Tonight Show’ for the last 10 years,” Fallon said. “I want to thank all the viewers who have laughed with me, inspired me, and come along for what has been the most joyful journey of my life. I still pinch myself every day and am so appreciative of the opportunity to stand alongside the giants of our business who have made their mark on this great television institution.”

Additionally, Jimmy Kimmel will be visiting Late Night With Seth Meyers tonight while David Letterman will also be stopping by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert later this week to take "The Colbert Questionert."

And later this week: Ilana Glazer & Michelle Buteau star in the new pregnancy comedy, Babes, opening in theaters everywhere. Rolling Stone calls this movie the Bridesmaids of babymaking, and if it truly meets the hype, this could very well end up being one of the best comedy films of the year and we're certainly looking forward to checking it out.

And finally: the landmark sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live will wrap up it's 49th season this Saturday with host Jake Gyllenhaal & musical guest Sabrina Carpenter.
