This Week In Comedy: Netflix continues its massive comedy takeover & celebration with it's on-going Netflix Is A Joke Festival. 800 Pound Gorilla News continues to be on the ground covering all the must see events happening this week you need to know about.

John Mulaney, the beloved stand-up comedian & writer, has been actively practicing his hosting chops this past year since his stint as the host for the Governors Awards earlier this year. With his background at Saturday Night Live, it's a no-brainer to see Mulaney continue his live chops in his limited run comedy series, Everybody's In LA. The show debuted its first episode this past Friday and will be streaming live every night all the way to Friday on Netflix. Featuring announcer Richard Kind, his first episode saw Jerry Seinfeld, Stavros Halkias, Ray J & there are many more to come later this week. Anything can happen live (even special appearances by Will Ferrell as Lou Adler).

Later this week, Kevin Hart's Mark Twain Prize for American Humor Ceremony premieres on Netflix. The household comedian, actor & entrepreneur was honored with this prestigious award this past March in the ceremony that featured his friends & previous collaborators Dave Chappelle, Jerry Seinfeld, Chelsea Handler, Jimmy Fallon, Lil Dicky & more honoring Hart (and even pulling some jokes on the comic).

New comedy specials on deck this week come from Nikki Glaser & her new HBO special, Someday You'll Die, Jen Fulwiler & her perfectly timed Mother's Day themed special, Maternal Instinct, Graham Kay's new special, Live in a Bowling Alley, & Camila Ballario's new special, Real Live!
