Andrew Dice Clay to Join Eddie Murphy Heist Film, “The Pickup”

Andrew Dice Clay is teaming up with another staple of the 1980’s comedy scene, Eddie Murphy.

Today it was announced that Clay will costar with Murphy in the new Amazon heist film, The Pickup. The specifics of the film haven’t been announced yet, except for the fact that Murphy plays a man who falls for a woman and winds up in a heist.

More than that, it’s already stacking up a stellar cast that also includes Pete Davidson and Keke Palmer. Matt Mider and Kevin Burrows wrote the script and Tim Story will be directing.

This is the latest in Murphy’s overall deal with Prime Video, who will be distributing the film. He previously worked with the streamer on Coming 2 America and Candy Cane Lane. So we’re excited to see what Murphy, Dice Clay, Davidson, and Palmer bring to the table for this new film!
