Comedian, actor & writer Carmen Christopher is heading to Veeps with his newest comedy special, Live From The Windy City, premiering on the platform Thursday, August 1st.

The anticipated new hour was taped earlier this Spring at The Sleeping Village in Chicago with the help of Tim Robinson & Zach Kanin producing, the duo known for creating the hit Netflix comedy series, I Think You Should Leave. In Live From The Windy City, Carmen channels his love for Chicago, delivering a performance that captures the spirit and energy of the city. The Chicago native hits on topics ranging from ridiculous portion sizes to hanging out with his buddies in the Windy City, horror movies, and Elon Musk.

In the special's trailer, he gives a taste of his Chi-town centric point of view on what non-Chicagoans think about meeting the city's locals. He offers, "When I travel the country now to do comedy and tell people I'm from Chicago, they're always like 'Oh my God, I love people from Chicago, they're so nice.' I'm like, 'who the f**k did you meet? Not my family, s**t.'"

Windy City follows Christopher's latest special, Street Special, which premiered in 2021 and was one of the premiere original comedy specials to debut on Peacock first. Along with Robinson & Kanin, the new special is also produced by Veeps and is directed by Marty Schousboe, director of Joe Pera's Slow & Steady.

Carmen will soon be seen as a series regular on the upcoming FX comedy series, English Teacher. He's also known for his recurring role on the hit FX comedy series, The Bear, as well as his WGA nominated writing on The Curse as well as Joe Pera Talks With You & I Think You Should Leave.
