In the past handful of years, we’ve seen Hannibal Buress explore wearing many different hats outside of stand-up. One of the things he’s taken on is music. It’s something he’s always had a passion for, but something he started pursuing more of during the pandemic.
Hannibal Buress taps familiar comedy faces for "I Lift Weights" video.
This week, Buress released a new music video for his latest single under the moniker Eshu Tune. In I Lift Weights, we see Buress as an individual who starts taking up weight lifting. He is accompanied by some familiar faces, including Kumail Nanjiani, Chelsea Peretti, Richard Jefferson, Ilana Glazer, Comedian CP, Mo Amer, Eryn Allen Kane, & Deon Cole!
The music video was shot in and around Los Angeles. It’s definitely fun to watch Buress find a way to combine two of his passions - music and comedy - in a pretty funny music video. We hope to see more of the same from him in the future!
