Comedians Matt Rogers & Bowen Yang, hosts of the popular comedy podcast Las Culturistas, have announced their third annual Culture Awards set to take place on June 15th, 2024 at the Kings Theatre in Brooklyn.
The parody awards show was dreamt up by the two Las Culturistas podcast hosts, which satirizes and celebrates all the highs and lows of pop culture from the past year. With over 100 distinct winning categories, this annual ceremony celebrates the people, places, and vibes that truly mattered, ranging from “Best Animal on the Farm'' to “The Little Mix Award for Being Absolutely Fierce Boots.”
The fun & irreverent ceremony was previously hosted at the Lincoln Center in New York for the past two years on the outdoor stage in Damrosch Park. This year marks many firsts for the ceremony: the first year the awards will be a ticketed event versus being free and open to the public, it's moving indoors, and they'll be partnering with producer Lauren Mandel and her company, Disco Nap, to build out the show.
When making the decision to move to an indoor venue, Yang shared with the Hollywood Reporter, “We are moving indoors so that people can enjoy upholstered seating, finally. I think people are too used to uncomfortable posterior resistance." The Saturday Night Live cast member continues, "Since our bar basement days, we have not given them a full awards show experience. And we are aiming to give that holistic packaging of being an honest-to-goodness awards show.”

Tickets for the 2024 Culture Awards will be sale Friday, April 5 at 10 AM with presales starting Wednesday, April 3 at 10 AM with password CULTCH.
