Earlier this fall, former Daily Show correspondent Roy Wood Jr. made his television hosting return with CNN's American version of the long-running BBC comedy quiz show Have I Got News For You. Fellow comics Amber Ruffin & Michael Ian Black joined Wood Jr. along for the ride as team captains & today, the network announced that the series has been ordered for season two.
The show's second season will return next year as part of CNN's Saturday primetime lineup.
The series' first season concludes this Saturday and throughout it, the show served up a smart and edgy take on the news of the week, as the comic trio led by Wood Jr. hosting & guiding a rotating collection of guests through an array of comic games and quick-witted panel conversations that test their knowledge of current events.

Notable guests from season one included Robin Thede, Andy Richter, Mark McKinnon, Ana Navarro, Larry Wilmore, Adam Kinzinger, Anthony Scaramucci, Bomani Jones, Representative Tim Burchett, and more. Journalist and host Kara Swisher will join as guest in the finale of season one this Saturday, November 23.
