Emmy-award winning comedy series Hacks is set to return for its highly anticipated third season on May 2nd. Today, Max has unveiled the official trailer giving a first look at Deborah Vance & her current superstar status as a stand-up comedian.
The show Hacks follows a dark mentorship between Vance (Jean Smart), a legendary Las Vegas comedian, and an entitled, outcast 25-year-old Ava Daniels (Hannah Einbinder). This upcoming third season season finds Vance riding high off the success of her stand-up special a year after parting, while Ava pursues new opportunities back in Los Angeles.
Rounding out the rest of the cast this season is Paul W. Downs, Megan Stalter, Carl Clemons-Hopkins, Kaitlin Olson, Christopher McDonald, Mark Indelicato, Rose Abdoo, and Lorenza Izzo. Guest stars for this season will feature appearances from Helen Hunt, Christina Hendricks, Christopher Lloyd, Dan Bucatinsky, George Wallace, and Tony Goldwyn.
Before releasing the new season, comedian & actress Hannah Einbinder will tape her anticipated debut comedy special for Max later this month with an upcoming summer release date on the streaming service.
When does "Hacks" season 3 premiere?
The nine-episode season debuts on Thursday, May 2nd on Max with two episodes, followed by two new episodes each week, concluding with the season finale on May 30.
