Stand-up comedian, writer & actor Langston Kerman has announced his next comedy special, Bad Poetry, premiering on Netflix August 20th.
In this "silly" special (as Kerman shares), the LA-based comic "talks parenting a top-tier baby, teaching mean teens and managing his mother-in-law's dating apps." Directed by John Mulaney, the new hour was taped at the intimate & legendary Green Mill in Chicago. Mulaney added with Kerman's announcement, "Langston is a champion. The set is ridiculously funny."
The two comics most recently collaborated on Mulaney's livestream talk series, Everybody's In LA, which aired live on Netflix during this year's Netflix Is A Joke Fest. Kerman was one of the writers during the show's run & he even lead his own hilarious Terrence Howard sketch during the Palm Trees episode.
Bad Poetry follows Kerman's Comedy Central Half-Hour Special in 2018 as well as his debut comedy album, Lightskinned Feelings. Kerman served as the head writer for Pause with Sam Jay on HBO & can currently be seen & heard hosting the comedy podcast My Momma Told Me with David Gborie as part of Will Ferrell's Big Money Players Network.
