Nath Valvo Is All Killer, No Filler With Hilarious Debut Special, "I'm Happy For You"

Since winning the coveted Adelaide Fringe Weekly Best Comedy Award in 2018, Australian stand-up comedian Nath Valvo has been on a steady rise in the comedy world that hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. He broke out in 2019 with his debut show, I'm Happy For You, the show that landed him a nomination for the Melbourne Comedy Festival Award and caught the admiration & attention of UK royalty Graham Norton calling Valvo "a total natural."

While the "all killer, no filler" comic (says The Age) is playing out his next show, Anyway, Back To Me, he's bringing the sensational debut comedy special, I'm Happy For You, to 800 Pound Gorilla this week. He joins fellow Aussie comedians Tom Ballard, Luke Kidgell, Tom Gleeson & Celia Pacquola to name a few in the ever growing Australian comedy arsenal with 800PG.

In I'm Happy For You, Valvo tackles the big question - should he become a father? Nath takes on his family, his partner, his friends and surviving life in his 30's. Featuring a lot of jokes and the usual Valvo flare audiences love. I'm Happy For You was Nominated for the Melbourne Comedy Festival Award.

The high energy & animated comic has been putting in the work further both on stage & off this past year with a variety of impressive feats. These include Nath receiving an invitation to perform in the Montreal Comedy Festival appearing in Mae Martin’s televised gala, as well as hosting the 2023 International New Faces show. As an accomplished TV writer, his work can now be seen in the new Netflix series Summer Love. And just earlier this year, his new podcast The Buck Up he co-hosts with Kate Langbroek landed number 1 on the Apple Comedy Podcast charts, the show where him & Langbroek "break down the absurdities of modern life."
