Look Into The Crystal Ball With Celia Pacquola In Her Latest Special, “Let Me Know How It All Works Out”

Australian stand-up comedian Celia Pacquola would always choose knowing what the future holds over blissful ignorance. Her frequent visits to psychics has proven ideal content for her stand-up. Particularly her visit to a music festival palm reader named Tony has given her plenty to talk about in her newest special, Let Me Know How It All Works Out.

We don’t think her psychics could predict all of Pacquola’s awards. Pacquola has been nominated twice for the Melbourne Comedy Festival Award and won the Amused Moose Award in Edinburgh and the 2018 Helpmann Award. She’s garnered multiple AACTA awards for her acting including but not limited to Best Supporting Actress for her role as Dolly Faraday in the acclaimed ABC1 drama The Beautiful Lie and Best Performance in a Television Comedy for her starring role in Rosehaven which she co-created and co-wrote with Luke McGregor for ABC-TV. Pacquola has been nominated twice for Most Popular Actress at the Logies, as well as a number of nominations for her writing at the AWGIEs. She joins the repertoire of Aussie stand-ups Luke Kidgell, Josh Glanc, Tom Ballard, Dan Rath, Tom Cashman, Daniel Muggleton & James McCann in putting Australia on the comedy map.

Pacquola is not only a television star. She made her feature film debut in 2019 with the New Zealand film The Breaker Upperers, produced by Taika Waititi. Pacquola also made her theatrical debut starring in the Australian feminist classic Oriel Gray’s The Torrents, produced by Black Swan State Theatre/Sydney Theatre Company.

Pacquola has made appearances on many shows, one of which is Chelsea Handler’s talk show, Chelsea Lately. She has packed Soho Theatre in London and the Sydney Opera House with her stand-up performances leading to the creation of her Prime Video special All Talk.
