Comedian Paul Reiser is something of a legend in comedy circles, having first come to prominence as part of the stand-up comedy boom of the 1970’s and 1980’s. This led to film work in movies such as Diner and Beverly Hills Cop, and eventually his own TV series, Mad About You, as well as 11 Emmy Nominations. But despite all of those accomplishments, Reiser still managed to be a prolific stand-up.
Reiser previously has released two specials, 3 ½ Blocks from Home in 1987 and Out on a Whim in 1991. But it’s been more than 30 years since his last one, and obviously, the medium has changed significantly since his last hour. That’s going to change soon.
Paul Reiser returns to stand-up with new special, "Life, Death, and Rice Pudding."
Later this month, Reiser is coming back with a brand-new special for Comedy Dynamics. Titled Life, Death, and Rice Pudding, in the new special, Reiser “discloses the secret to successful downsizing, explains why the whole ‘Do unto others’ thing doesn’t work in marriage, and why boiling pasta naked is never a good idea. And for absolutely no additional charge, you will come to understand why finding raisins in rice pudding underscores the very meaning of life.”
The new special debuts on November 19th.
