Peacock has announced that the streamer will not be moving forward with season two of the Pitch Perfect spinoff series, Bumper In Berlin, starring Adam Devine.

Despite being initially renewed for a second season earlier this year (as first reported by Deadline), it appears that the ongoing writer's & actor's strikes has continued the trend of not moving forward with new seasons of younger shows, including the How I Met Your Mother spinoff How I Met Your Father. This is also in response to delayed production schedules making it harder for networks to target release dates.

A little more about the series, "Bumper In Berlin."

The show's logline read, “Several years after we last saw him in Pitch Perfect, Adam Devine’s Bumper Allen moves to Germany to revive his music career when one of his songs becomes big in Berlin.”

Comedian & actor, Adam Devine, lead the cast which also featured Sarah Hyland, Jameela Jamil, Lera Abova & Flula Borg in the show's first season. The show was also executive produced by fellow Pitch Perfect star, Elizabeth Banks.
