This Week In Comedy: Kyle Kinane Releases His Eighth Stand-Up Special, "Dirt Nap"

This Week In Comedy: just shy of a year after releasing the critically acclaimed stand-up special Shocks & Struts, comedian Kyle Kinane is back with a brilliant new hour with his eighth stand-up special Dirt Nap, available today exclusively on 800 Pound Gorilla. The comic teamed up with fellow legendary comedian Bobcat Goldthwait to direct the new hour shot at the famous ACME Comedy Club in Minneapolis.

More stand-up specials set to premiere this week include Hannah Gadsby's Gender Agenda on Netflix (their showcase styled stand-up highlighting gender-queer comics, check out the lineup here), Greg Stone's Nobody Presents on YouTube & Ali Siddiq's highly anticipated Domino Effect Part 3.

This week is also a good week for comedy movies. The Peter Farrelly directed R-Rated comedy starring John Cena & Zac Efron, Ricky Stanicky, premieres on Prime Video. And Chelsea Peretti's directorial debut, First Time Female Director, premieres on the Roku Channel.

And finally: Jimmy Kimmel returns to host the 96th Academy Awards for the fourth time. The comic & late night host has been hard at work writing & shooting promos for the upcoming ceremony and with his proven track record as a consistent & likable host, we have no doubt that he'll crush it once again this year!
