Watch: Triumph The Insult Comic Dog Crashes The VP Debate

In this highly intense political season, it’s important to make sure everyone is kept informed of policies and what’s happening within the country. And who better to help keep us all informed than Triumph the Insult Comic Dog? That’s just what happened at this week’s Vice Presidential debate.

Recapping Triumph the Insult Comic Dog's encounters at the VP debate.

Created by Robert Smigel, Triumph was a long staple of Conan O’Brien’s late-night shows, as well as The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Now, Triumph has joined forces with The Daily Show to bring us all of the information - and more - that we’d expect from the debate between Tim Walz and JD Vance.

While Triumph didn’t get any time with Walz or Vance, he did bring us memorable encounters with JB Pritzker, Howard Lutnick, and Jake Tapper. While he tried to talk to Donald Trump Jr., who turned his back on him, he did manage to get perhaps our favorite insult of the video in. When his tactics weren’t working, he donned a Hulk Hogan and JD Vance’s grandmother disguise.

We hope that Triumph and his crew continues to bring us more election coverage in the future. He’s one voice that the people truly need to hear from, dammit!
