Last night from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles were The 76th Emmy Awards, the show where The Television Academy crowns all the big winners from this year's comedy shows & celebrates excellence in television all around.

From last night's Emmys ceremony, The Bear took home the majority of the comedy awards of the night with four (that sum includes 3 of the 4 acting categories), but Hacks ultimately took home one of the two major awards for the night which included Outstanding Comedy Series. For what seemed like it could've been an easy shoe in for The Bear after getting tons of awards love over the last two years, seeing Hacks win the top honor was a pleasant surprise we were excited to witness.

With the previous wins in account from last weekend's Creative Arts Emmys, The Bear once again takes the crown for most comedy wins this season ultimately nabbing 11 wins from its 23 nominations (trailing behind is Saturday Night Live with 7 wins).

Check out all the winners from this year's ceremony below including the speeches, show reunions, Dan Levy & Eugene Levy's monologue & the in memoriam segment performed by Jelly Roll.

Eugene Levy & Dan Levy's Emmys Monologue

From watching how great this father-son duo was together on the hit series Schitt's Creek, we knew these two hosting together was gonna be a treat & that certainly rang true beginning with their opening monologue. Their jokes about Eugene's best father roles, whether or not The Bear truly is a comedy, & Canadian cultures on the awards stage set the tone for what made for a solid Emmy awards watch!

Here are all the comedy category winners from the 76th Annual Emmy Awards!

"Hacks" Wins Outstanding Comedy Series

Schitt's Creek star Catherine O'Hara jokingly took some hesitation presenting the coveted comedy series award asking the question, "must we really just choose one winner?" She then begins ripping up the envelope really leaving us thinking that no one was actually gonna get the night's top prize...until she swaps in a brand new envelope that was hiding behind her.

The cast & crew of the hit Max comedy series, Hacks, accepted one of the two big awards of the night for Outstanding Comedy Series with speeches led by show creators Paul W. Downs & Jen Statsky sharing their lovely appreciation for comedy & their call to action towards the crowd to support their local comedians (something we can absolutely get behind)!

Jeremy Allen White Wins Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series

Some of sitcom's greatest TV dads, George Lopez from his self titled series, Damon Wayans from My Wife & Kids, & Jesse Tyler Ferguson from Modern Family, came together in a classic TV dad man cave to present Jeremy Allen White the award for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series for his work on The Bear (which now makes him undefeated since winning the same award at the 75th Emmys).

Jean Smart Wins Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series

Saturday Night Live alum & star of Murphy Brown Candice Bergen presented Jean Smart with the award for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series for her work on Hacks.

Ebon Moss-Bachrach Wins Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series

The Only Murders In The Building trio Steve Martin, Martin Short & Selena Gomez kicked off the night's first award by doing what these three do best together: playfully roasting each other & easily making the room laugh. Together, they all presented Ebon Moss-Bachrach with the award for Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series for his work on The Bear (who, like his co-star White, defends his title since winning the same award at the 75th Emmys).

Liza Colón-Zayas Wins Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series

It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia stars & comedic husband-wife pair Rob McElhenney & Kaitlin Olson shared one of the funniest bits of the night while presenting the category described by McElhenney as "the comedic performances that hold everything in place" and "show crucial support when it's really needed." To which Olson suggests McElhenney is describing a jockstrap & later implies he's calling iconic supporting actress nominees Meryl Streep & Carol Burnett jockstraps.

They ultimately presented Liza Colón-Zayas with the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series for her work on The Bear.

"Last Week Tonight With John Oliver" Wins Outstanding Scripted Variety Series

Stars of Reba & the upcoming Happy's Place series Reba McEntire & Melissa Peterman presented this year’s Outstanding Scripted Variety Series to HBO’s Last Week Tonight With John Oliver (who continues to defend the show's title since earning it again at the 75th Emmys).

Alex Edelman Wins Outstanding Writing For A Variety Special

Saturday Night Live alums & current Emmy nominees Maya Rudolph, Seth Meyers, Kristen Wiig & Bowen Yang came together to host a mini SNL reunion supported by the familiar Studio 8H backdrop to hilariously roast the show's head honcho Lorne Michaels for loosing his Emmy's 85 times. Later when Seth reminds the other three that Lorne has actually won 21 Emmys & SNL has won over 200, Kristen cleverly responds "that's too much."

Accepting his first ever Emmy Award is Alex Edelman for Outstanding Writing For A Variety Special for his HBO comedy special Just For Uswho's now completed an impressive seven year run of his solo show run in an epic chapter closer.

"Hacks" Wins Outstanding Writing For A Comedy Series

Like the earlier comedy supporting actor presentation, some of sitcom's greatest TV moms, Susan Kelechi Watson from This Is Us, Connie Britton from Friday Night Lights & Meredith Baxter from Family Ties, came together to present the Hacks writing team, Lucia Aniello, Paul W. Downs, & Jen Statsky the award for Outstanding Writing For A Comedy Series.

"The Daily Show" Wins Outstanding Talk Series

Comedy legend & actor Billy Crystal presented the night's award for Outstanding Talk Series by comically & backhandedly reflecting on each of his first visits on the nominee's shows. Accepting the award was Comedy Central's The Daily Show led by Jon Stewart & his all-star crew of rotating hosts (this award also makes the Daily Show undefeated since winning in its last Emmys ceremony when the show was hosted by Trevor Noah).

Lamorne Morris Wins Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Limited Series

While not a comedy series specific win, we thought it was beyond worth to mention comedian, podcaster & forthcoming Saturday Night actor Lamorne Morris' first ever Emmy win for his role in the limited FX series Fargo. Congrats Lamorne!

Christopher Storer Wins Outstanding Directing For A Comedy Series

Reunited together for the 50th anniversary of Happy Days was two of the the show's stars including Academy Award winning director Ron Howard & legend Henry Winkler, they notably couldn't present the next award without queuing up the show's iconic theme song. Accepting the award for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series was show creator Christopher Storer for his work on The Bear directing the episode "Fishes."

Jelly Roll Pays Tribute To Those We've Lost In Song, "I'm Not Okay"

Country star Jelly Roll performed a touching tribute remembering those in television we lost this past year including Martin Mull, Richard Lewis, & Bob Newhart to name a few.
