Comedian Catherine Cohen is premiering her newest comedy special, Come For Me, on Veeps Thursday, October 17th. The new hour marks her sophomore special following her acclaimed 2022 debut Netflix special The Twist …? She’s Gorgeous, the hour she performed at Edinburgh Comedy Festival in 2019 where she earned the esteemed Best Newcomer Award.
For Cohen's newest offering (written & performed by her), Come For Me is presented as part stand-up comedy, part cabaret an depicted as an openly glamorous, decidedly horny exploration of what it means to be a woman entering her 30s. The special's trailer above gives a tease of this exploration in both stand-up form & a slate of original songs played by her & her house band.
Come For Me was taped at the Gramercy Theatre in New York with Kevin Garcia directing (also director for Jessi Cruickshank's Minivan Money & Reggie Watts' Never Mind) and Matt Sergent and Patrick Koch producing. Executive producers include Cohen and Cait Taylor, as well as Joel Madden, Benji Madden, Kyle Heller and Bart Coleman for Veeps.
Cohen can currently be seen on season four of the hit comedy series Only Murders In The Building as well as previously appearing on Girls5eva, What We Do In The Shadows, Broad City & more.
