John Mulaney is making his return to the Broadway stage this December in a limited 10 week run of comedian & Saturday Night Live writer Simon Rich's All In: Comedy About Love. This new show, based on short stories written by Rich for The New Yorker, will mark Mulaney's first Broadway show since 2016's Oh, Hello & mark his latest collaboration with the same broadway & Tony-Award winning director, Alex Timbers (he also directed Mulaney's Netflix specials Baby J & Kid Gorgeous as well as Alex Edelman's HBO special Just For Us).

Mulaney will be involved in the productions first five weeks and joined by a rotating cast of fellow comedians & collaborators including Fred Armisen, Girls5Eva's Renée Elise Goldsberry (December 11-30), SNL's Chloe Fineman (January 2-12), and Everybody's In LA announcer Richard Kind. More additional casting for the rest of the run will be announced soon.

According to the official synopsis, the new show is based on short stories written by Rich for The New Yorker and is "a series of hilarious stories about dating, heartbreak, marriage, and that sort of thing, adapted from the short stories of Simon Rich, and performed by a rotating cast of some of the funniest people on the planet. Sometimes they will play pirates, sometimes they will play dogs, and there’s one where we make them talk in British accents. But even though the show’s kind of all over the place, it’s meant to tell one simple story: that the most important part of life is who we share it with. We hope everybody will relate to it, even if it was their date’s idea to come and they are starting out from a place of quiet resentment."

When does "All In: Comedy About Love" begin its run on Broadway?

All In begins performances on Wednesday, December 11 at Broadway’s Hudson Theatre in New York City. The show is produced by Seaview and Lorne Michaels with New Yorker Studios. Tickets for the show go on sale September 26th & more info can be found here!
