After shooting a pilot earlier this summer, Hulu has officially picked up its newest comedy series Mid-Century Modern, a new multi-camera comedy starring Nathan Lane, Matt Bomer, Nathan Lee Graham and Linda Lavin.

The new series follows "three best friends (Lane, Bomer, Graham) — gay gentlemen of a certain age – who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their golden years living together in Palm Springs where the wealthiest one, Bunny Schneiderman (Lane), lives with his mother, Sybil (Lavin). As a chosen family, they prove that no matter how hard things get, there’s always someone around to remind you it would be better if you got your neck done."
The series was created by Will & Grace scribes Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, with both also executive producing. Lane and Bomer are also executive producers, along with Ryan Murphy and James Burrows, with Burrows having directed the pilot. Burrows previously directed Will & Grace, Cheers, & Frasier.
Lane is know stranger to the sitcom world having previously served as frequent recurring roles in hit comedy series like Only Murders In The Building, Curb Your Enthusiasm, 30 Rock, & Modern Family to name a few.
