The acclaimed & Emmy-award nominated comedy series Shrinking, starring Jason Segel & Harrison Ford, is returning to Apple TV+ on October 16th & has unveiled the official trailer for the upcoming season. The hit series, created by Ted Lasso's Bill Lawrence, Brett Goldstein & Segel, quickly nabbed a second season renewal upon its series premiere early last year. After waiting for what's felt like forever for the show to begin production due to last year's strikes, we're finally getting season two.

Everything to know about "Shrinking" season 2.
The show follows a grieving therapist (played by Segel) who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he makes huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own.
In addition to Segel and Ford, the rest of the cast includes Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell and Ted McGinley. Goldstein will appear as a special guest star in season two & also returning is SNL star Heidi Gardner in her recurring role as seen briefly in the new season's trailer.
Shrinking is the third collaboration between series co-creator Bill Lawrence & Apple following the global smash Ted Lasso (which could return for season four soon) & the newly created Vince Vaughn starring comedy series Bad Monkey.
Serving as executive producers are Lawrence, Segel, Goldstein, Neil Goldman, James Ponsoldt, Jeff Ingold, Liza Katzer, Randall Winston, Annie Mebane, Rachna Fruchbom and Brian Gallivan.
When does "Shrinking" season 2 return to Apple TV+?
The 12-episode second season premieres globally on Apple TV+, with the first two episodes dropping on Wednesday, October 16, followed by one new episode weekly, every Wednesday until December 25, 2024.
