Tom Segura To Star In New Dark Comedy Series Picked Up By Netflix

Tom Segura is furthering his reign as one of the biggest names in stand-up comedy. The comedian & podcaster is continuing his relationship with Netflix in a new six episode dark comedy series ordered by the streamer that he'll star in & produce.

What to know about Tom Segura's new dark comedy series.

The currently untitled series centers on Segura, who also serves as the show's Narrator, as he takes us through each episode in a series of vignettes. The twisted comedic sensibility of Tom's standup is the core DNA of this series, where every story will unfold in a hilariously disturbing way only he could imagine.

The show is based on a pilot fully produced and written by Tom with Ryan Hall producing through their YMH Studios production banner. Rami Hachach is set to direct, who previously collaborated with Segura on his specials Ball Hog & Mostly Stories. Serving as the show's head writer will be Jeremy Konner, who previously wrote on Drunk History, Another Period & Waffles & Mochi. The series will begin production later this year & premiere on Netflix in 2025.

Before unveiling announcing this new series, Segura released his previous Netflix comedy specials Slegehammer (2023), Ball Hog (2020), Disgraceful (2018), Mostly Stories (2016), and Completely Normal (2014).

Segura can currently be seen and heard on his Come Together Tour & his popular comedy podcasts 2 Bears 1 Cave with Bert Kreischer & Your Mom's House with Christina P (both produced by YMH Studios). He's also set to appear at this year's Netflix Is A Joke Festival performing at the Kia Forum on May 9th as well as hosting the first annual 2 Bears 5K with Bert Kresicher on May 7th.
