Back in 2018 & up until 2021, stand-up comedians & podcasters Yannis Pappas & Chris Distefano co-hosted their hit comedy podcast History Hyenas together, the show where the two comics "go WILD for history and nature and teach all things historical and natural in a way that you never thought was possible."
What fans had thought was a goodbye forever ended up being just a see you later (more specifically three and a half years later) since their last episode that was coined as their last. But now, after teasing a couple weeks ago that they're reuniting for new episodes, they've officially dropped their return episode to YouTube today.

In their return episode, Pappas & Distefano got right back to where they left off & reminded fans of the amazing chemistry these two have together combining history & comedy. The new episode found the two comics, per the episode description, covering "the history of October Surprises. As it turns out, today isn’t worse than it used to be—dirty politics has always been around. It’s good to be back!"
New episodes will premiere every week on the History Hyenas YouTube channel & everywhere you listen to podcasts with bonus episodes & exclusive content available on their Patreon.
Ahead of returning to History Hyenas, Distefano recently announced his next comedy special set to premiere on Hulu & continues to host his Chrissy Chaos Podcast via YMH Studios with fellow comedian Mike Cannon. He's currently on a now temporary hiatus from co-hosting the Hey Babe podcast with fellow comic Sal Vulcano.
Pappas can currently be heard on his popular Yannis Pappas Hour podcast as well as his latest stand-up special, Mom Love, available to watch on 800 Pound Gorilla's YouTube channel.
