Earlier this month, comedian Dana Carvey made his return to the fan favorite comedy podcast, Fly On The Wall, with co-host David Spade after taking some time off from work & social media in light of his son's untimely death. In the return episode, the Saturday Night Live alums teased a possible new spinoff series where they'll be working out new stand-up bits and now we have confirmation that the new show, Superfly, officially premieres on Friday, February 2nd.
What to know about the new podcast, Superfly.
In the new show, Carvey and Spade will "riff on current events, pop culture, social clips, and audience submissions with their trademark hilarity, absurdity, and impressions, with guests appearing from time to time."
The Superfly Podcast will now release episodes in full video via their Fly On The Wall YouTube channel in addition to all audio platforms. New episodes will premiere every Friday.
In the show's first trailer, Spade jokes that the new show was started "possibly by demand," which we absolutely believe given how the show's originator has been a #1 chart-topping podcast across Apple, Amazon & more. Carvey teases some of the shows new segments including games, puzzles, fan questions, impressions, music & more.
