Watch The Trailer For Peacock's New Animated Comedy Series, "In The Know"

If you're a fan of The Office, King of the Hill, NPR or public radio, a new comedy show awaits for you!

Peacock has unveiled the trailer for its newest adult animated comedy series, In The Know, premiering on January 25th. A new show that breaks the fourth wall by combining the stop-motion animation style with real life, live action celebrity interviews on a fake NPR radio show (watch the new trailer above).

What to know about the new comedy series, "In The Know."

Zach Woods (who you may know as Gabe Lewis from The Office & Donald 'Jared' Dunn on Silicon Valley) is the creator, executive producer & star of In The Know. The show's co-created by & also stars Mike Judge, who's responsible for creating the hit animated shows Beavis and Butt-Head & King of the Hill. Judge plays the culture critic, Sandy, on the new series. Greg Daniels (original creator of The Office) also serves as an executive producer.

Here's the show's synopsis: centered around Woods, he plays Lauren Caspian, "NPR’s third most popular host. He’s a well-meaning, hypocritical nimrod, just like you and me. He’s also a stop motion puppet. Each episode follows the making of an episode of Lauren’s show In the Know, in which Lauren conducts in-depth interviews with real world human guests. Lauren collaborates with a diverse crew of NPR staff. They are also puppets and nimrods."

Who's in the cast of "In The Know"?

Rounding out the rest of the cast is Caitlin Reilly, Charlie Bushnell, J. Smith-Cameron, & Carl Tart.

Some of the guest interviews to be heard on the new show based on the new trailer include Hugh Laurie, Nicole Byer, Finn Wolfhard, Mike Tyson, Ken Burns & more.

Woods shared his hopes for this new show: “We try to provide both on the show. (And even if you think our comedy is literal trash, we hope you'll enjoy the gorgeous animation from the stop-motion geniuses at ShadowMachine.) We want this show to start funny, scary, friendly conversations. We want to portray people who are possibly irredeemable but hopefully still loveable. And at the center of all of this is a frail overconfident male puppet with a woman’s name: Lauren Caspian.”
