Comedian Zarna Garg has announced that she's partnering with Hulu for her next stand-up special. She joins the streaming service's stacked comedy roster of comedians whose next specials will premiere under its comedy banner "Hularious."
Everything to know about Zarna Garg's new Hulu comedy special.
The new hour, currently untitled with no release date yet, will be produced by Rotten Science (the same team behind Rachel Bloom's latest special on Netflix Death, Let Me Do My Special along with Sam Morril's You've Changed on Prime Video).
Garg jokes in a statement, “I’m beyond excited to join the Hulu family and bring families together for my comedy special! Just make sure they get back to their math homework afterward.”
Before announcing the new special, Garg premiered her debut comedy special One in a Billion on Prime Video in April 2023. She's also the host of her Zarna Garg Family Podcast & is currently developing a new CBS sitcom based on her life, Zarna, which is being produced by Mindy Kaling & Kevin Hart.
Hulu's first original stand-up special begins with Jim Gaffigan: The Skinny on November 22nd. Following suit is Ilana Glazer: Human Magic on December 20th and later next year we'll see new specials on the platform from previously announced comics Bill Burr, Roy Wood Jr., Andrew Santino, Jessica Kirson, Chris Distefano, Sebastian Maniscalco, Atsuko Okatsuka & Matteo Lane.
As part of its entry into stand-up comedy, Hulu has also licensed dozens of specials currently streaming on the platform including a slate from 800 Pound Gorilla, Comedy Dynamics & Don't Tell Comedy.
