Seth Meyers has announced the title, premiere date & released the trailer for his newest stand-up comedy special, Dad Man Walking, premiering on HBO October 26th. This new hour marks his first for HBO & second overall following his 2019 Netflix special Lobby Baby.
His first special focused around him & his wife giving birth to their second son in the lobby of their apartment building. And now five years later, he's taking this new hour to open up on raising his three young kids, navigating different communication styles in marriage, & the proper way to cross the street in New York City. Fans of his acclaimed late night series & his long-time run as a writer & cast member on Saturday Night Live will see him flex his effortless conversational style to offer up his hilarious reflections on family, generational legacies, and why his kids provide the best material for his comedy.
Taped this past June at the Vic Theatre in Chicago, Dad Man Walking is performed and written by Seth Meyers. The new hour is directed by friend & fellow comedian Neal Brennan, executive produced by Meyers & Mike Shoemaker for Sethmaker Shoemeyers Productions, Tim Sarkes, John Irwin, and produced by Chelsea Alonzi.
Meyers celebrated 10 years of hosting his critically acclaimed NBC late night series Late Night With Seth Meyers, which was Emmy nominated for Outstanding Talk Series at this year's Emmys. He also co-hosts his two podcasts The Lonely Island & Seth Meyers Podcast & Family Trips with the Meyers Brothers.
